JAMB Mock Exam: See what you could expect

We see that Students are now gearing up for the upcoming JAMB Mock Exam coming up this Saturday, 8th April, 2017

While some smart candidates are downloading the JAMB CBT Practice Mobile App, some others are downloading the JAMB CBT Computer Software for systems. Those without any of the above two options, and those who have adequate internet, will just settle for our Totally Free Online JAMB CBT Exam Practice app.

The great thing is that the smartest of candidates have access to, and know how to use all 3 of the above highlighted platforms. But like we always say, which ever platform you use, as long as you practice daily, Ay2much
will have you covered, and you will Pass your JAMB UTME this 2017.

We see you're putting a lot to make sure you are reading for the coming JAMB Mock Exam. While that is the absolute right thing to do, please don't expect too much.

Although participants in the Mock exam will be able to have a feel of the new technologies implemented by JAMB, Remember that the Mock Exam was set out by JAMB to "Test Their Systems", and to ensure a hitch free conduct on the actual days of exam. Please don't think JAMB is doing you a favour.

Please don't expect that the questions you see in the Mock Exam, are the exact same questions you will see in the actual exams in May.

We expect JAMB to bring out only the simplest of questions for the Mock, and we don't even expect that questions from the new Novel "In Dependence" will be set at all. This is only our (Myschool) Opinion.

We are only trying to encourage all those who will be writing the JAMB Mock Exam, and to let them know they should keep reading and practising, even after the Mock Exam. You CAN NOT let your guard down!

Mock Exam: Have you received any info from JAMB? Enter Here

So we are all expecting the JAMB Mock Exam for 2017 UTME to hold on Saturday, 8th April, 2017.

We believe all our candidates are ready to test the new platform & technology from JAMB, and we believe they will give their honest review of the new system on this website, once they are done.

....
Since it's just 2 days to the exam, JAMB ought to have sent out more details to candidates concerning the planned exam on Saturday.

We are expecting details confirming the Date of the Mock exam for the candidates, their venue (or CBT centre to write) and the time for the exam.

Since the mock exam is supposed to be a prototype of the actual exam, we expect the above information to have been sent out by now.

All those who indicated interest to write the Mock Exam, please check your emails properly to ensure an important information has not gone to your bulk or spam folder.

If you don't see any email, please visit the JAMB portal at www.jamb.org.ng and login with your account details, to see if further information have been updated on your profile concerning the JAMB Mock Exam.

If you find anything, please don't hesitate to come back here and let us know your findings, so as to alert other candidates.

If JAMB has not sent out messages concerning the Mock Exam by now, we only wonder how prepared they are for the 2017 UTME.

Possible Questions From JAMB Novel “In Dependence”

Many candidates that have registered for the 2017 UTME and obtained the newly introduced Novel "In Dependence," must have finished reading the book (that is for those that enjoy reading novels).
Already many have started asking of questions they are to expect during the examination.
At the moment I have come up with few questions from the first two chapters of the book.

With time, more questions will be included.

However, we advise candidates to ensure they finish the whole book before the examination as the reason for this is just to give you an idea of how the questions will likely be presented.

BREAKING: MMM to pay all frozen November-December 2016 money

Since the fiasco of December 2016, interest in the MMM scheme has waned as many lost money in the scheme, while others become more wary of it.

However, there seems to be some good news on the horizon. According to a post on the MMM Nigeria Support group, the scheme is set to pay back the money put in between November and December 2016 without the bonuses.

Below is the post, as made by Stanley Oz:

Mavrodians:

Do you support this or not???

This is a very important discussion that MMM should consider very vital to help our community, precisely, MMM Nigeria community concerning 2016 Mavro.

I carried some public opinion today with some good numbers of participants concerning the 2016 Mavro release after all said and done, we the Nigeria MMM community believes that since Mavro growth can not be stopped.

That, it will be a good idea to our community to only focus on the Mavro that is accrued from November to December 2016, e.g. since a lot of Mavrodians PROVIDED HELP in November 2016 and expected to cash out December 2016, that the one month space should be only Money that is needed to be settled to all.

Example:

1.} Mr Michael a new participant registered November 2nd, 2016 and pledge N50,000 plus the $20 bonus, that will certainly give Mr Michael at least N74,000 by December, so we suggest which is going to be helpful to our community that MMM should only focus on giving Mr Michael N74,000 only and all other Mavro running from January 2017 uptil now on that same PH please should be wipe off,

In other word, the programmers can program the Mavro to be STILL only to withdraw the N74,000.

2.} Mrs Jane is an old participant that pledge N50,000 same day November 2nd, she is suppose to cash out N65,000 December 2nd , 2016 and nothing more.

So please consider this suggestion and make it as a news that MMM has find a way to resolved all these 2016 problems, that all Mavro of 2016 will be only paid for November to December 2016 and every other growth in the Mavro 2016 should be disregarded & discarded for the sustainability of the community.

Below are some of the responses to the suggestion so far:

Paulinus Akpan said: "Not supported, cos there are people who registeredin September and fell into moratorium in October and as such could not get help even till now. I have such as DL, she could not get help of even her new mavro uptil now.

"She is on support now for more than 18days, no solution yet. If this is adopted, what goodi is given to people of this sort? Dont forget that everybody didnt register or Ph only in Oct&Nov. Think on the pros & cons of this your proposition."

James Onawo asked: "That would have been wonderful cos it is practically impossible to clear 2016 marvro with the present growth rate. Imagine someone who is supposed to collect 34k now has Close to 100k. Where will money come from?"

Umar Suleiman said: "I have heard of all these stories. tired of stories. we need action .how long will it take a system to be upgraded. now getting to four month without nothing rather mischievous words. God is watching."

Factors Influencing Industrial Location
1. Availability of raw materials: In determining
the location of an industry, nearness to sources
of raw material is of vital importance.
2. Availability of Labour: Adequate supply of
cheap and skilled labour is necessary for and
industry. The attraction of an industry towards
labour centres depends on the ratio of labour cost
to the total cost of production which Weber calls
‘Labour cost of Index’.
3. Proximity to Markets: Access to markets is an
important factor which the entrepreneur must
take into consideration. Industries producing
perishable or bulky commodities which cannot be
transported over long distance are generally
located in close proximity to markets. Industries
located near the markets could be able to reduce
the costs of transport in distributing the finished
product as in the case of bread and bakery, ice,
tins, cans manufacturing, etc. Accessibility of
markets is more important in the case of
industries manufacturing consumer goods rather
than producer goods.
4. Transport Facilities: Transport facilities,
generally, influence the location of industry. The
transportation with its three modes, i.e., water,
road, and rail collectively plays an important role.
So the junction points of water-ways, roadways
and railways become humming centres of
industrial activity. Further, the modes and rates of
transport and transport policy of Government
considerably affect the location of industrial units.
The heavy concentration of cotton textile industry
in Bombay has been due to the cheap and
excellent transportation network both in regard to
raw materials and markets.
5. Power: Another factor influencing the location
of an industry is the availability of cheap power.
Water, wind, coal, gas, oil and electricity are the
chief sources of power. Both water and wind
power were widely sought at sources of power
supply before the invention of steam engine.
During the nineteenth century, nearness to coal-
fields became the principal locating influence on

Ajumobi was a brave and powerful hunter
who enjoyed boasting of his prowess as a
successful hunter.
In his lifetime, he was firm and had
absolute control of his household.
Ajumobi was a happy and lively man.
Like most men in Kufi, he liked drinking
palmwine in the company of friends. He was
quite ambitious. Prior to his death, he
planned to renovate his house and even
take a second wife. Yaremi loved her
husband greatly and in spite of their many
squabbles in his lifetime, she missed his
affection and companionship.

i)Blindness: In the ancient Greek drama,
Oedipus the tragic hero is convinced he can
overcome the Oracle's predication that he
will unwittingly kill his father and marry his
mother. He blinds himself in a fit of rage
after the prophecy is fulfilled.
ii)Hubris: Is the word given to the excessive
pride exhibited by the tragic hero in ancient
Greek drama, which brings about his
downfall. It is hubris that ultimately causes
Bigger's death. Filled with excitement after
committing the seemingly ultimate crime-
killing and decapitating a white woman-
Bigger puts aside his doubts and his
instinctual desire to run and save himself
and repeatedly returns to the scene of the
crime, the Dalton house.
===============

6. The use of irony in the text is called situational irony. Bigger has always regarded every white person as his mortal enemy and as fake will have it,a white friend is brought his way. To him, Every white person is a symbol of oppression. On the contrary. Many Dalton is friend to bigger but bigger is ready to exhibit his disdain for white folks as the same feelings is felt towards Jan too. On the other hand, many and jam (the two I white lovers ) shows him love and friendliness which makes him ashamed of himself. Both lovers are closing so at the rock of disapproval from their own folks. The two parties are actually operating in total ignorance of the other hand situation , a condition brought about by years of unhealthy extreme opinion of the other .
It is ironical that jam, whom bigger tried blame his murder of Mary on, would later take step to free the some bigger of culpability in the crime. He is the one who brings max to Bigger to act as his counsel during his arraignment.
Another ironic situation is noticed with the respect of bigger is freedom. While restricted to a cell in prison , he feels free where as outside he feel.

Official: JAMB Finally Cancels Registrations for 2017 UTME -

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has discovered a major error on all Registrations so far, and has finally resolved to cancel the 2017 UTME, slated to hold from 6th May.

The decision was reached in the early hours of today, after it was detected that the PASSPORTS of candidates were omitted by a system virus while registration data was being uploaded since 20th March, 2017.

All efforts to recover uploaded passports proved futile, thereby resolving to cancel Registrations for the 2017 UTME entirely.
All candidates are by this notice, expected to note the following;

1. #NaJokeBeThis
2. #TodayIs1stApril
3. #AprilFoolsDay
4. #YouThoughtWeForgot?
5. #LetsHaveSomeFunToo
